Morgan McKinley Executive Search is looking for a Practice Leader to join the team. This can be based in either Dublin or Cork, Ireland.

About the role
As a Practice Leader, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and delivering exceptional service in the Executive Search profession. Your primary focus will be proactive business development to expand market share, leveraging industry insights and building lasting client relationships. You will prioritise a customer-first approach, ensuring quality delivery and maintaining a commitment to excellence across all engagements. With outstanding stakeholder management skills, you will lead by example, fostering collaboration across internal teams and ensuring clients and candidates receive a first-class experience. Primary Responsibilties
Responsibilities will be broad-ranging and will include the following:

  • Drive new business development across the Irish market. 
  • Develop and execute your go-to-market strategy for which you are responsible.
  • Contribute, where necessary to the operational running of the Executive Search business.
  • Provide our clients with exceptional customer service and service delivery.
  • Ensure a Right First Time approach is taken to how business is conducted.
  • Support our Group FDI and Sales teams on pitches/tenders, acting as an SME where necessary.
  • Participate in the growth of the business through identifying and engaging relevant talent to join the Executive Search business.
  • Engage and liaise with colleagues across all international office locations.
  • Develop candidate briefs, candidate profiles and summary reports as necessary for our clients.
  • Work closely with the Research team to provide an expedient but thorough search on all roles.
  • Contribute to the “continuous improvement” ethos within the Executive Search business.

Candidate Profile & Key Competencies
The successful candidate should ideally possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • 5+ years experience in the recruitment of leadership positions within relevant sectors.
  • Highly sales/business development oriented.
  • Demonstrable track record in developing new clients and retaining clients through multiple projects.
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of the relevant sectors in Ireland.
  • Ability to pitch and present in a confident manner both on the phone and in person.
  • An emotionally intelligent, team player who puts the positive culture of our business above all else, will be best suited to this role.
