Our Hong Kong winners take on Thailand!

The “Go Beyond” winners from Morgan McKinley in Hong Kong were rewarded for their hard work with an amazing trip to Koh Samui (in Thailand) last weekend.

Our top performing fee earners, our best head-hunters, and our office support stars were rewarded with an opportunity to attend this getaway. Joining them on this trip were our 2014 award winners, rewarded for their contributions in truly demonstrating our company values: Always Committed, Always Communicating, Always Embracing Change and Always Building Trust.

These champions participated in an organised series of challenges and team-building activities. By learning to communicate and work together, Team RED earned a very strong win on the day, with poor Team GREEN coming last in every challenge! Afterward, everyone had time-out to enjoy the beach and sample some local cuisine. Lots of optional activities were available for those who wanted massages, shopping in the night markets, golf, go-karting and even Thai boxing!

The team building session was definitely the highlight of the trip, which consisted of the 3 teams competing in different activities such as trying to construct a raft in the ocean, co-ordinating a team “Extreme Skip-off”, and rescuing ping-pong balls from within a 10 foot plastic tube. The games were perfect for developing and reinforcing the team’s creative thinking, trust, leadership, communication and cooperation skills.

The fantastic trip has raised the HK ‘Go Beyond’ spirit to new levels - and has motivated everyone to try and secure a place at the next “Go Beyond’ event in 2015.
