Hong Kong for many has not been on the list, until now.
Working abroad just got a lot more exciting for British Citizens between the ages of 18 and 30 who are looking to work in an exciting new city.
From Jan1 2014, up to 1000 British Citizens between the ages of 18 and 30 can apply for a Working Holiday Visa for Hong Kong. The scheme allows participants to work or take self-funded courses in Hong Kong for up to 12 months. And there’s no need to worry about switching jobs every few months, participants on the scheme can work for the same employer for up to 12 months.
So, why would you want to work in Hong Kong?
Well, Hong Kong is the gateway to Asia, for work and play. Hong Kong is home to many Fortune 500 companies who have operations in Asia Pacific. Fancy a long weekend away or venture out for a city holiday? Then city or weekend breaks to China, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Japan and Taiwan are all within easy reach.
