When I heard about the global CSR initiative that we are taking part in for the next two years, it really excited me.

In July this year, we launched the Morgan McKinley Million – to raise €1Million by the end of 2018 across the group. 

For my pledge, I really wanted to push myself. So far, I have completed the City to Surf 14km run on Sunday 14th August 2016 and managed to fundraising $750 for MS Research Australia. This part of the pledge in particular was very special to me as I had never run 14km before and for those that know the course, it is TOUGH. Lots of hills! Also, it was a chance for me to raise funds for one of the charities closest to my heart as my Mum is a MS (Multiple Sclerosis) sufferer. 

 I’ve also donated my time as a volunteer for the Starlight Foundation on Friday 14th August for kit collection for the Colour Run and just this week, I’ve been part of the team who cooked dinner for 70 unwell children and their families at Ronald McDonald House. 

I will also be taking part in the JP Morgan Corporate Challenge run on 9th November 2016 with some of the Morgan McKinley Australia team.

I’m not sure yet what my challenges will be for 2017 but I’m excited to be doing my part for the #MMKMillion
