Hiring Contractors through the Recovery

As we transition into phase 3 of Ireland’s recovery roadmap, it’s great to see that many businesses across Ireland have begun phasing themselves back into the workplace.

The office support market was hit hard by the sudden, unavoidable shift to remote working back in March. As we’ve all navigated our way through this, we’ve worked closely with our clients to keep up to date on the trends in the market. Sectors that are bouncing back quickly include Engineering, Technology, Pharmaceutical and Property & Construction. It appears that a lot of companies in these sectors are confident to hire which is great news for the economy and a lot are opting to hire temporary staff for a variety of reasons outlined:

Headcount is frozen but we’ve a backlog of admin built up.
