Awards Season in Morgan McKinley Ireland

The first few months of the year is always a busy time in the world of showbiz, with the Golden Globes, the BAFTAS and the Oscars (to name but a few) all taking centre stage!

Here in Morgan McKinley we have attended our own fair share of glamourous events so far this year. We even had a ‘La La Land moment’ at the Great Places to Work awards when we thought we had been excluded from the list - but instead much to our relief learned that we had in fact moved up a size category! This is our 12th year to be named as a ‘Great Place to Work’, but our first year to be listed in the large Company category. We achieved 9th place on the list which we felt was a significant achievement in our first year in the large size category. We were comfortably positioned with other excellent organisations including, Vodafone, Ebay, SAP, Salesforce and Workday to name a few.

At the annual IITD awards, Morgan McKinley was shortlisted for two awards: Best CSR Initiative and Best Learning and Development Organisation. We were thrilled with these nominations. Learning and Development is a critical part of our organisational culture and to be recognised externally for this was a significant achievement. Similarly, we were delighted with the recognition our Morgan McKinley Million initiative received at the awards - our corporate purpose is ‘Improving Lives’ and we feel that our endeavours to raise €1 Million through fundraising and volunteering by 2018 truly reflects this.

On 3rd March, Morgan McKinley was recognised once again as a Best Managed Company at the Deloitte Best Managed Companies Awards. The awards, in association with Barclays Bank Ireland, recognises indigenous Irish companies across Ireland which are operating at the highest levels of business performance. We are proud of this achievement and especially proud to have once again achieved ‘Gold Standard’ status.

Our achievements in each of these awards are a direct result of feedback from our people and their relentless commitment to excellence. We never take for granted the fantastic culture we have in Morgan McKinley and we are committed to continuing to work hard to maintain and develop this.
